Varsity Head Coach- Katie Burkhardt
Coach Burkhardt is entering her 1st year as the Head Coach at Olathe South. Prior to this year she coached two years at Olathe West as the Varsity Assistant coach. She grew up in Olathe and is an Olathe South Softball Alum (2010). In 2009 she earned an All Sunflower League Team honor and a spot on the Class 6A All-State Second Team. Her senior season she was named All Sunflower League First Team and Class 6A All-State First Team (2010) with other conference honors. Also, in 2010 She was selected to play in the Missouri- Kansas All-Star game. Coach Bukhardt continued her softball career for two years at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2010-2012) and then two years at Tabor College (2012-2014). She was named Second Team All KCAC in 2013 and First Team All KCAC in 2014. She was also selected as the NFCA Second Team All-Region catcher by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. She helped coach the Tabor Bluejays in the 2015 season while finishing her degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics. She graduated from Tabor College in May of 2015. Coach Burkhardt is an Instructional Aide at Olathe South. Coach Burkhardt got married to Kyle Burkhardt on October 26th, 2019.

Varsity Assistant Coach- Molly Broswick
Coach Broswick is entering her 8th year coaching at Olathe South. This will be her 2nd year at the Varsity Assistant Coach. One of her favorite memories during her time here at South is seeing Varsity win State Back to Back years. Coach Broswick grew up in Olathe and is an Olathe South Alum (2008), she played 1 year at South with Coach Burkhardt! Coach Broswick is in her 1st year of teaching PE at Indian Trail Middle School. She taught Business and Computers for 4 years at Prairie Trail prior to this. She also coaches volleyball at Indian Trail. Junior Varsity Coach- Jennipher Vance
Coach Vance begins her sixth year coaching at Olathe South. Coach Vance played two years college basketball and softball before attending and graduating from Pittsburg State University. She was the head softball coach at Wellsville High School for 7 years before coming to the Olathe School District. Coach Vance had one state appearance and two second place regional finishes while at Wellsville. She loved being part of both state championship teams at South. Coach Vance has 3 kids, Emilee, 27 (Assistant to the Head Softball Coach at Labette Community College and a 2011 Olathe South graduate) Zach, 18 (Plays football for Pittsburg State University). And Josie, 13 (a 7th grader in Wellsville). Coach Vance currently teaches special education at Olathe South.
